     Environmental advisor/charcoal specialist; 2018 - trench supervisor for a pottery kiln. (Kiln charcoal preliminary 
     report completed).

2014  Pre-Construct Southwark site (London) (Courtesy Victoria Ridgeway). Supervising the analysis of charcoal
     from this excavated site for my Londinium project.
2013-14 Morgantina (Sicily) (Director, A. Walthall, U Texas).  A new phase of research began at this Greek 
     archaic/Roman excavation in June 2013, including comprehensive environmental data collection. I set up recovery
     and microphotography protocols; supervised field collection; trained students.  Some legacy charcoal has 
     been studied. Awaiting  phasing/dating.

I thank the following excavators for providing charcoal data for my project on the Fuel and Wood Economies of Rome and Romano Britain in the Imperial Period. Most of these sites are in preparation for individual publication. Sites where preliminary or final reports are available are indicated. Final synthesis for Rome/Latium is not expected until 2020.
